Putting Your Child's Health First

At Dr. Burute Child Care Clinic, every policy we follow has one purpose: to provide safe, ethical, and evidence-based medical care for every child. For over five decades, our approach has remained unchanged. We believe that thoughtful clinical examination, honest communication, and responsible medical practice are the foundations of quality pediatric care. The following information explains how our clinic functions and what you can expect during your visit.

Appointment Policy

Appointments are scheduled by phone or in person at the clinic . We do not offer online appointment booking through this website or any other online platform. To schedule an appointment, please contact the clinic during consultation hours. Our team will be happy to assist you.

Clinical Examination Comes First

Every child is unique. For this reason, medical advice and treatment should always be based on a careful clinical examination rather than symptoms described over the phone or through messages. Our pediatricians examine every child thoroughly before making a diagnosis or recommending treatment, ensuring that every medical decision is guided by the child's current condition and the best available clinical evidence.

No Phone Consultations or WhatsApp Prescriptions

To ensure safe and responsible medical care:
  • We do not provide medical consultations over the phone.
  • We do not prescribe medicines through WhatsApp, SMS, or email.
  • We do not diagnose illnesses based on photographs or text messages.

This policy exists to protect your child by ensuring that treatment decisions are based on a proper clinical assessment.

Respecting Consultation Hours

Our consultation hours are carefully planned to provide every child with the attention they deserve. We request parents to contact or visit the clinic during working hours for appointments and consultations. Outside consultation hours, our doctors may be attending to family responsibilities, continuing medical education, or caring for other patients.

Emergencies

Dr. Burute Child Care Clinic is an outpatient pediatric clinic. If your child is experiencing a medical emergency, such as difficulty breathing, seizures, unconsciousness, severe dehydration, major injury, or any other life-threatening condition, please proceed immediately to the nearest hospital with emergency facilities. Prompt emergency care should never be delayed.

Our Clinic Team

Our reception and nursing staff play an important role in supporting patient care and ensuring the smooth functioning of the clinic. However, they are not authorized to diagnose illnesses, prescribe medicines, or provide medical advice. For medical concerns, your child should always be examined by one of our pediatricians.

Educational Information

The information available on our website, blog, YouTube channel, and social media platforms is intended for general educational purposes only. Every child is different, and online information cannot replace an in-person medical consultation. If you have concerns about your child's health, we encourage you to schedule a consultation with a qualified pediatrician.

Our Commitment to Ethical Care

For over 50 years, our clinic has remained committed to providing:
  • Careful clinical examination
  • Evidence-based medical care
  • Honest medical advice
  • Compassionate communication
  • Respect for every child and family
  • Ethical and responsible pediatric practice
Every recommendation we make is guided by one question:

"What is in the best interest of this child?"
